This ambitious collection of music was conceived as a concept album to reflect the history and plight of the Native American Peoples. Jana and her manager Stephan Galfas had written the story (which was eventually published as a book) and we all collectively collaborated on music and lyrical content. Recorded at The Cottage and Starr Ridge Studio, this album was received with critical acclaim and was consequently nominated for a 2007 Grammy® Award. It also received the 2007 Native American Music Award for Album of The Year. I consider it one of my most ambitious and creative works to this day.
